Auto Show Preview Party

On February 9, 2008 Lake Forest Sportscars presented an event at Grubman Photo Studios in Downtown Chicago to celebrate the Chicago Annual Auto Show. The clean white palette of Photo Studios’ walls painted the perfect background as guests anticipated the unveiling of Aston Martin’s DBS, Ferrari’s Scuderia, and Maserati Quatroportte as well as the Mancuso family Daytona Prototype race car.

Along with the handsomely impressive automotives the room was filled with 175 VIP guests.. As guests enjoyed fully stocked bar, Jordan’s Food of Distinction featured a magnificent display of delicious food for guests to indulge.

Jordan's Food of Distinction: Jordan's Food of Distinction is a food-centered event planning and culinary company located in Chicago's Wicker Park.  Following the footsteps of his mentors, Chefs Yamauchi and Merges, Jordan continues to evolve his art and his business every day.  He refuses to rest on the laurels of past success, but strives every day to create a better menu, plan a better event, attract new clients and build a stronger and more loyal staff than he could ever have imagined in his younger days packing produce in an outdoor farmer’s market.

Firestone Vineyard: Founded in 1972 by father and son, Leonard and Brooks Firestone, Firestone Vineyard has enjoyed 35 years of family stewardship. Recently, so that they might concentrate on their burgeoning beer business and smaller Curtis Winery, the Firestone family decided to sell their iconic winery. In doing so, they turned to fellow Santa Barbara vintner Bill Foley (Foley Estates Vineyard and Winery, Lincourt Vineyards) as the logical next shepherd for the famous property. The vineyard focuses on optimal physiological balance in the vines yielding wines that are brightly flavored, crisp and delicious.

Henriot Champagne:  The House of Henriot cultivates a very particular style, valuing time, patience, and the pursuit of perfection. It chooses the best wines from the best "crus", demanding the most careful work from the vineyard and cellar workers.
The family’s knowledge of the terroirs and blending skill makes the wines of Champagne Henriot recognizable among all others. Champagne Henriot is committed to offering wines with a strong personality centered around the family’s philosophy of wine making.

Goose Island Beer: Goose Island continues to brew an innovative selection of over 50 craft beers at the brewpub, the best of which are then bottled at their Fulton Street brewery. Goose Island is also involved in the production of a small selection of craft sodas.
