A Night at the Casino Royale
Lake Forest Sportscars, Aston Martin and Architectural Digest held an invitation-only, black tie event on September 30, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. The event benefited Project RUSH and celebrated the role of Aston Martin in the newest James Bond movie, Casino Royale. Project RUSH is a not-for-profit organization that provides essential and immediate aid to homeless youths in Chicago. A dramatic tree-lined drive, a red carpet and three backlit Aston Martins greeted guests over 200 guests as they entered a private home located in the historic district of Lake Forest. The gracious 7,500 square foot Georgian manor, designed by Lake Forest Landmark Development, is located steps from the shores of Lake Michigan. Sipping on Aston Martin Vodka martinis courtesy of Snow Queen Vodka, guests tried their hands at craps, roulette, poker and blackjack. Bond girls offered premiere Zero Halliburton cigars out luxurious customized cases. J&L Catering provided the hors d’ouvres which included miniature scallion crepes, wild mushroom tartlets and homemade hand-dipped truffles. The event raised $15,000 for Project RUSH.
